“Color is a power which directly influences the soul.” Wassily Kandinsky.

WASSILY KANDINSKY.

Have you ever pondered what you need in life that helps you have a good day? Everyones list may be different but with some similarities. Today I woke up to another white snowy sky which made the 3 month old snow pile outside my kitchen window look even more dreary than it did yesterday. As the early morning minutes passed on I realized I was in a cranky mood. Being a cranky artist is not very productive and doesn’t help to produce work that is vibrant, colorful or meaningful. I soon realized my soul was in need of some color. The Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky says it all in his quote above. For sure color has a big influence on my soul. So I hopped into my car and went to the grocery store where I walked around in the large flower department and filled my eyes with color that flowers can so generously display.  Such a simple outing has changed my view of life today. I hope you will enjoy these photos and perhaps they will make your soul dance a little today as you go about your daily tasks.

I also strolled through the produce department and found this great looking apples.

The candle holders are new items that can be used at your Easter table or as  holders for a baptismal candle.

I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way – things I had no words for.
